Charles Rick Phelps joined our family on September 3, 2016! He is a beautiful, calm, and sweet baby boy that we already love so much! We woke up Saturday morning with a couple of texts from Skylar that came in at about 1 am saying that they were in the hospital and then one at 3 am saying that the baby was born. We slept right through it! Had know idea until we woke the next morning that all of this was even going on! The delivery went well and Sarah is well on her way to recovery now. He weighs 7 lbs 1 oz and is 19 1/2 in long.
When we got the news we hurried to get ready and went to visit. I held and held little Charley and did NOT want to give him up. He is a sweet little baby that hardly ever cries. I hope he stays that way because little Henry is a HURRICANE and requires a lot of attention. I know that Skylar and Sarah will welcome an easy baby:-)
