Another year of Alaska fishing

This year's fishing expedition was a success!

The group consisted of Brad, Rick, Brach, Jeff, Ben and Jon.
They all had a great time.

They got a little bit of rain and it stayed in the 50's for them for the  most part (which is good for Alaska).  They got to see humpbacks breaching as well as a school of dolphins that hung around the boat for a while.  They only spotted one bear while they were out and about and that's alright with me;)

The sea lions gave them a what for this year taking FIVE of their fish!  That was ok though because in the end they each still brought home two boxes full of fish.

These men sure love their fishing!

Here are some pics.....

Charles turns SIX

Charlie had a birthday on the third of this month and is now officially SIX!
He had a fun date with his dad in the morning and then had a get together with friends at ZaxZone for some video games.

Charlie has gotten a lot more affectionate with me these last few months and I love it.  He is a sweet boy and is very smart.  We love him so much!

Happy Birthday, Charles Rick!

Little Cheerleader

Daisy had her first cheer camp with the Grantsville Cowboy Cheerleaders.
She had a two day practice and then was able to perform (with about two hundred other girls) at the Cowboys first home football game.  She was really darling and looked so cute!
We love our sassy Daisy girl!💗

Swiss Days 2022

Swiss Days 2022 was another hit!
the kids started off with face painting and a Yodel:)

We had a fun time perusing the booths and buying a few things.  It was a very hot day so we were thankful to find some shade once in a while:)  My big purchase was a family tree print.  It will have five generations of both Rick's and my families plus our kids on the bottom.  It has been ordered and I should receive it in a few weeks:)

Of course, we got some pie and ice cream and then took home some home baked goodies from the Relief Society booth!  Fun times!

FALL SPORTS

                                                     Let the Fall Sports begin!

Charlie's game at 8:00 in Grantsville.

Henry's game at 11:30 in Herriman.

Rafe's game in Grantsville at 2:00.

Twas a busy and wonderful day cheering on these athletes!

HENRY GOT BAPTIZED

Henry Clyde was baptized on Saturday, August 27th.  We sure adore our Henry grandson and are so proud of him.  Skylar baptized him and then gave him a beautiful confirmation blessing.
Uncles Ben and John gave the talks on baptism and the Holy Ghost.  Sarah led the music and both Sharon and I were witnesses.  Henry told me,  "I felt really good when I came out of the water!"😀

After the baptism we met at the Phelps home for dinner and visiting.  Sarah had prepared a buffet of taco salad fixings'.  It was all really nice visiting with family.
So happy for this special day!
