JUNE HAPPENINGS

CHLOE'S TURNS FOUR

Chloe had a birthday party on June 5th held in Doug and Leesa's backyard.  She had cousins from both sides of the family attend and was so excited to open her presents.
She got some new Barbie dolls and accessories.
We love our little Chloe.  She is so beautiful!
She can be a bit sassy at times but we love all the sweetness that is inside of her.

Happy Birthday, Coco!

                        HENRY'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT

We traveled down to St. George along with Skylar and Sarah and their kids for Henry's soccer tourney in Cedar City.  We stayed in St. George for a night and then traveled back to Cedar for the tournament.  We got to watch him play in two different games.  He is sure learning a lot and we love to watch him play and cheer him on.  It was a bit colder than expected (especially the morning game).  We were all wrapped up in blankets to stay warm.  The afternoon game was a lot more comfortable.

LAGOON DAY

On the 14th of the month we had the trailer set up at Cherry Hill  and had Charles, Henry, and Haivyn come stay with us.  They brought their scooters and enjoyed riding around the campground.  The next day, on the 15th,  we met up with our kids and their families for our annual Lagoon Day.  Rick bought season tickets for us on Black Friday and surprised me on Christmas Day with them.  It was a fun day at Lagoon! Some of the kids are getting old enough to ride the big rides so we were able to split up a couple of times, some for the big rides and some on the kid rides.  At times we were all together.  It is fun to see the grandkids be so excited!  Lagoon is really a magical place!  The weather was perfect for us and the lines were short.  We got to ride on lots of rides throughout the day.

                                BRADY'S BIRTHDAY

Next we had Brady's birthday on the 20th.  He turned FIVE.  His party was held and his grandma and grandpa Boman's house and he had cousins from both sides come to celebrate with him.  Brady is definitely a spunky kid.  We LOVE his personality.  He is very talkative and always loves to be with us.His mama made him a Mario cake and it turned out really cute...and delicious!  He received a lot of gifts but I think his favorite gift was a remote control car!

We sure love our Brady boy!  Happy Birthday!

                                PICKING CHERRIES

We had a bumper crop of cherries this year and had the grand kiddos come to help pick them.  They all had fun picking, eating, and having "cherry wars"!  After picking them the kids helped to clean and pit them.  I made a cherry pie at Rick's request.

PHELPS FAMILY REUNION

This year's reunion marks the end of an era.  Brad and Ruth decided to just do a one day reunion instead of the three day's that we've had in the past.  For all of these years we have camped in different places but the family is getting so big that it was decided that we would shift down to just one day.  It turned out really well.  We had a lot of family members come.  The Lawrence and Fern Phelps family now numbers at 327!  We did not have that many come to the reunion but there was close to half at 162!  It was a wonderful reunion with a potluck lunch, a waterslide for the kids, tennis and corn hole for the adults, and lots of visiting!

The last week of June I traveled down to Vegas to stay the week with my mom and dad.  Rick flew in on Wednesday to help.  My dad was able to come home from the hospital after being there for a month.  My mom and he were very happy to be back together!

It has been a wonderful beginning to the summer and we are finally enjoying some warmth after a long wet winter and a long cold spring!
