Parade of Homes

The third week of February we took a few days to drive down to the St. George Parade of Homes.

I was super excited to go since it's been a couple of years.  It was just a quick trip but I really enjoyed getting away from home after my surgery.  We were able to use Kathy's disabled sticker to park close to different places.  That was such a help for my knee!

We may be in the market for a new home if we can sell ours.  I have been feeling strongly that we need to downsize and have a home all on one level.  Since my surgery I have learned the difficulty of getting up and down the stairs when I am not in good health.  It would be nice to have a home where our bedroom and laundry are all on one level.  It would be nice to have a home where it would be easier to grow old in.

We walked through site a few homes and decided that this floor plan could work for us with a few minor changes.  We would need to add more storage and an exercise room.  The home was decorated so cute with a lot of color which I also loved. 

I am not in love with the elevation of the front but maybe an architect could change it up for us.

Anyway, it is all just a pipe dream unless we could find someone to purchase our home.  Hopefully family.
