Valentine's 2025

Rick and I had been so excited to get to the Capitol Grill for our Valentine's date.  Unfortunately, I got sick and so we had to postpone.  Rick ended up getting some takeout from The Green Burrito (which actually tasted pretty wonderful).  We will be going to Capitol Grill next week at Rick's request:)

We stayed up watching Rick Steves travel show and then Rick went to bed while I stayed up watching The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.  I love that show and it was just the little bit of romance I needed for the night...being sick and all:)

But I had invited all the kids to come for a Sunday Valentine's Brunch.  We had a spiral cut ham, potatoes, eggs, fruit and sweet rolls.  It was good to get together with everyone after being gone for three whole weeks.

Here is the simple table for the adults....we were missing one because Kaitlyn decided not to come.

Everyone got a box of chocolates from Grandpa (at grandma's reminding HAHA)

Just after brunch we sent the kids to do a Valentine card craft while the adults had a Gospel discussion based on President Nelson's talk Think Celestial.  It was nice.

After that everyone met us upstairs for games.
Here are pictures of everyone getting ready to play the Valentine Trivia game.

After the Trivia game we played the name game.
It seems to be the kids' favorite right now.

This was the highlight of the night...
Henry made this sweet card for us...

What a treasure!
We love our family!
