Toast Concert with the Sisters

A few weeks ago I sent a text out to all of the Phelps Sisters inviting them to a concert.

When I was young I loved the group Bread.  The group broke up in the mid 70's.  Nowadays there is a cover band that plays their music and is on tour right now.  The name of the band is Toast!
 Isn't that so funny!

I got a yes, back from DeeAnn and she let me know that Kathy wanted to join us.
Darla would've come but she was goin to be out of town that night.
No one else responded...their loss...haha!

So the concert was last night.
We started the evening with a dinner at PF Changs.  We got a bunch of food and enjoyed talking.  Well, actually I did most of the talking telling the girls about my trip.
But I had fun telling them!  I hope they enjoyed listening!

We walked the few blocks from the restaurant and entered the Capitol Theatre.
We were up in the balcony and had a decent view.
The lady in back of us enjoyed photo bombing our picture. HaHa!

I got a lot of video of the band singing my favorite songs.
Some of them were If, Make It With You, Baby, I'mma Want You, Aubrey, and two of my favorites...Lost Without Your Love and Goodbye Girl.  David gates was a great singer songwriter!

They really did a good job singing for us and the nostalgia was real!

It was a great night with the sisterhood!
