SoCal....The Beach and Market

Here are some more pictures of our trip last week.  We got to go to Oceanside Beach THREE WHOLE DAYS!  The boys went boogie boarding each time.  They loved it!  The kids played in the sand and Rafe got to fly a kite for the first time!  We read books, watched the kids, buried Brach in the sand, walked down the pier, and enjoyed the sunshine.
One of the days was a little chilly but the sunshine helped.

Some pictures from Oceanside Beach

On Thursday nights, Oceanside has an outdoor market.   It was one of the funnest things we did on the trip.  It was two block of booths with people selling everything from watches (which the boys bought) to jewelry to essential oils and beyond.  There were at least twenty different types of ethnic foods to try and many goody booths.  Rafe was able to get his first pony ride.  In this picture he doesn't look too excited and he was a COMPLETE stone face through the whole ride but he loved it.  It was comical to see this little boy who LOVES horses to not even crack one smile during the five minutes he was on the pony.

Some of my fun finds.  The flowers were inexpensive and that chocolate cake was super delish!!

All of us at he market.

The home we stayed in was very nice.
It was a newer home and was about a five mile drive from the beach.

The kids enjoying play time in the family room.

The Lone Ranger:-)

On our way home we stopped in Vegas to visit with Grandpa and Grandma Hafen.  We got a couple of fun pictures while we were there:)
