Tracy Aviary TWICE

Both Sarah and Kendra have birthdays in July so that means Rick and I watched their kids for them while they went out and had a good time with their other halves.

First we had the Phelpses over for a couple of nights.  For one of the days I took the kids to the Tracy Aviary for some bird watching.  Charle got the opportunity to go into a bird enclosure to feed the storks.  He fed them mill worms and something else.  I think he got a little nervous while he was in there because those birds were BIG!  We all enjoyed being in the outdoors and ESPECIALLY loved eating at Zupas afterward.😀

 Then, the very next week I took the Boman kids.  We got to see these beautiful toucans, my favorite bird, so I call it a successful day!

The kiddos were so cute!   After being there for a couple of hours we did get pretty hot and hungry so we headed to Olive Garden where we met Rick and had a delicious lunch.  

It was a fun day out with the kids!

Alaska

On July 12th Rick left me at home for a whole week.

He took his annual Alaska trip to go fishing.

He was with his brother, Brad, Ben Allen, Sunnie Titmus, and Jeff Winderlin.

They had a great time with wonderful weather and some nice catches.

I wish I could upload the video of Rick pulling up a big one.

Anyway,  they all had a great time and made it back home safe.

That's what matters most to me!

 

Music and the Spoken Word

Music and the Spoken Word celebrated their 5,000 episode today the 13th of July.

I had invited the Phelps sisters to go but Darla was the only one who could come.

She in turn invited Audra and Sebi.

Needless to say it was a fantastic show!  I was so glad to be able to go!

 

Mirror Lake

Here is a photo dump of ALL the pictures of this year's Mirror Lake trip.

We were there for three nights July 8th through the 11th.

From the pictures you can tell that we did A LOT of fishing.  We had such a great time and caught a lot of fish.  I think thirty plus over the three days we were there.  We hiked around the lake, ate good food, played games, and make s'mores.  The kids loved being together.  They are the best of friends and I love it sooo much!!the weather was perfect and I would say this was the BEST Mirror Lake trip we have ever had.  I hope to NEVER forget it!  I love these people so much!!
