The week of Thanksgiving Charles invited me to his preschool Thanksgiving feast as his guest. We got to go to Miss Heidi's (Hamond) home for a fun luncheon along with his school mates and their guests. We started out by finding our seats and Charles showing me his teepee and hand print turkey. On his turkey he named some things he was thankful for. Some of those things include food, the kitchen, and grandma:)
We had a nice lunch of turkey, ham, cheese, homemade rolls, chips, and pasta salad. There were cookies for dessert. We did a little coloring on the tablecloth as well as playing a little tic tac toe. The kids (along with Miss Heidi told the story of the First Thanksgiving. Then the kids sang a song about a turkey hunt and stood when the color that they were wearing was featured. I had a nice time with Charlie. He was so excited to be there and I was excited to share that special time with him.
