Thanksgiving 2021

This year we had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Since we did not travel to Vegas on this "on" year the kids were all able to come to the house for dinner. (Except for Alyssia)

Sarah, Kendra, and I met the day before to get some food preparation done.  It was really fun!  While the kids played we worked in the kitchen.  Luckily we have had a stretch of warmish weather so the kids could play in and out.  Sarah worked on her yams.  She also was in charge of the stuffing and homemade rolls.  Kendra worked on a couple of different pies.  She made a peanut butter and chocolate, German chocolate, and a banana cream.  I prepared the raspberry jello and the cream cheese pie.

We met at 2PM for dinner the next day.  There was A LOT of food to choose from and it was all so delicious!  Here are some pictures of the day.

After dinner I played a few games with the kids while the adults sat around and talked  Then grandpa took the kids downstairs to put on a movie.  Rick, Gary, Skylar, Sarah, D and Kaitlyn all played a couple rounds of nine ball and had a good time.

We sure loved the opportunity to be at home this year with all of the family.  We love to be together!  Especially when good food is in the mix.  So Thankful for each member of the Phelps Clan.
