Miss Scout turned SIX on the fourteenth of this month.
She brings a light and joy into our lives.
We sure do love her!
Mr. Rafe also had a birthday and turned EIGHT on the nineteenth.
We sure love this spunky red head!
He is great at baseball and football and loves being rambunctious outside!
He opted for a pie instead of cake. HAHA!
Turning eight is a big deal around here!
It is the year that children are eligible to be baptized.
Rafe chose to be baptized (along with his cousin, Noah) in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was held on Saturday, the 24th at the Cherry Street Church.
He was baptized by his dad and confirmed by him with all of the Priesthood holders in the room assisting.
Grandma Boman gave a talk on baptism and the importance of following Jesus.
Grandpa Boman gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and how important it is to listen to His promptings.
Grandpa Phelps was asked to bear his testimony.
Noah's grandma was asked to lead the music and I was asked to play the piano.
Also, Emma, Sage, and Emma's mom sang a special musical number, "When I am Baptized".
It was a beautiful service:)
