Rick turned FIFTY SIX this month!
We enjoyed a fun date to celebrate. We started out driving up Parley's Canyon to golf at Mountain Dell Golf Course. It started out very cold (those darn mountain winds) but we stuck with it and finished our game:)
After our game we drove into Park City for some bakery treats then took a drive across Guardsman Pass for some autumn views. The quakies had pretty much lost all their leaves by that time but it was still a beautiful drive!
We stopped at Silver Lake for a walk around the lake. It was a nice afternoon and there were lots of people milling around...some even fishing.
After leaving the Brighton (Silver Lake) area we drove down into town and went to our favorite restaurant. The Five All's closed down last year but we found out that one of the old chefs bought it and opened it back up. We were excited to hear that! Everything is pretty much the same (right down to the end of the meal macaroons) as it was before. I cannot tell you how much we loved this dinner!
It was SO good!
The next night (Rick's actual birthday) we had little party with the family. I picked up food from Mo Bettahs (at Rick's request) and we had a nice dinner out on the patio. Kendra made a tres leeches cake and I made a peanut butter and chocolate. They were both delicious!
It was great to celebrate yet another year!
Happy Birthday, Sweetie!
I had no idea that Five Alls re-opened! This is such wonderful news!
