Another year and another Halloween Party!
We had small numbers this year because Brad and Ruth were out of town, Hal and Janis are on their mission, and Ken and Rob have health issues. We still managed to have a really fun time without them:)
We started off with our Costume parade judged by none other than Rafe and Scout!
We all walked in front of them and then they went to the office to decide who was the winner.
They came back and presented the gift prize to none other than DEEANN! I don't think she has been on the receiving end of the costume prize so that was great. She didn't want her individual picture taken but you can see her in the group photo. She was a hunter dressed up in Camo and an orange vest and brought along a real bb gun. NO wonder the kids liked it so much!
We had a great time eating the traditional soups and appetizers and dessert. Karen had brought two desserts....a pumpkin pie and a chocolate cake. I also pitched in with a pecan pie so there was plenty of dessert to be had!
After visiting and dinner we played a fun game of Halloween Trivia, girls against the guys. While there were both difficult and easy questions, funny enough, it was a tie. We never got around to the tie breaker so we left it at that:) It was a great night with even greater people.
We love our Halloween tradition!

I always look forward to Halloween night. I don't know...I guess it's the kid in me:)
We had a lot of trick or treaters. We guesstimated just over fifty! Most of our candy bars got taken and we were happy for that! The last ones left about 8:30 and then we were able to sit down and watch The Ghost and Mr. Chicken afterwards. Who am I kidding...I fell asleep through most of it but it was still a great night!
