Sunday after church we met together as a whole big family to celebrate again.
We started with a Family Home Evening about the week's Come follow Me lesson about Joseph story in the Old Testament. It happens to be one of my favorite stories in the Old Testament and reading it always makes me cry. We had a nice discussion about things we each learned from Joseph's life and then the adults went to pick up their kids for the dinner portion of the evening.
Brach had requested ribs and mashed potatoes so we made it happen. With everyone bringing potluck we had a delicious feast! Kendra brought a green salad and orange parfait jello. Sarah brought homemade rolls and steamed broccoli. Our friend Cheryl Etiang (who is living downstairs for a while with her baby Naomi) brought some delicious homemade mac and cheese. Everyone said how much they loved the food. Afterwards we broke out the cake (chocolate with oreo cream frosting) and then sat down to talk about Brach memories. It was a great night and a good few days of celebrating Brach. We sure love and appreciate him in our family!
