Gary turns 23!!

This guy turned 23 last Friday!  We celebrated with a family dinner on Sunday.  He requested Clam Chowder in bread bowls for his bday dinner.  He also wanted an asphalt pie for dessert!  After dinner the Baker family and Dalton and Austin joined us for presents and games.  It was a nice night.

I should have gotten more pictures of family but this one turned out really cute!

Happy Birthday Gare!  I hope your next year is great!!

Road School 2016

Last week was the annual Road School Seminar in St. George.  Rick and I left home after church on Sunday and so we were able to be there for a full 5 days.  Skylar, Sarah and Henry joined us on Monday.  We enjoyed the week together golfing, playing in the pool, playing games and watching movies.  We also got to eat out a few times as well:)

We bought a new pool chair from WalMart.  It is really cute!  (So is that guy sitting in it!)

Sarah and Henry enjoying the warm weather.

We love the Red Hills Golf Course!  It was a beautiful day and the three of us had such a good time!

On Wednesday I went to Vegas to visit my mom.  We had a really good time talking.  Mare came by for a couple of hours too.  It was fun to be together.

Here are the guys in front of their booth.  They enjoyed their time at Road School talking with a lot of people that they have worked with through the years.

Henry liked the big tractors!

After breakfast one morning we visited the duck park at the top of Main Street.  The ducks were eating out of our hands:)

We also enjoyed hiking (if you can call it that) above St. George.  We were there for all of a 1/2 an hour!

The view from one of the cliffs!

Grandpa and Henry time!!

Man's Night Out

A couple of weeks ago for one of our last Jazz games of the season the boys had a "Man's Night Out".  Since we had an extra ticket I was invited to be the "6th man".  I felt a little funny but they were all guys that I knew so it wasn't too bad.

First, we stopped to have some Killer Mexican Food at Red Iguana and it was soooo good.  I haven't been to RI since the 90's but this place is still as popular as ever.  There is always a lineup to get into this place.  We got there early and still had to wait 40 minutes.  WORTH IT!!

Next we headed over to the game.  John had to work late so he met the guys at the game.  While they took our regular season ticket seats Rick and I sat a section over and one row up.  It was a totally exciting game and we ended up winning.  That always is a good way to end the night.

It was a fun night out with the boys!!
